Thanks to the filling resin cylinder that is screwed into a tool holder fixed to the windscreen, the filling resin is pressed into the stone chip with the cylinder plunger, whilst air contained in the damage is sucked out of the cylinder by unscrewing the plunger or by using a vacuum on the filling resin cylinder. The switch process of pressing in the filling resin and sucking out the air will take approx. 10 to 30 minutes, or as long as is needed until there is flawless filling free from air pockets. Then the remaining resin is sucked out of the cylinder (can be used for further repairs) and the filling resin pressed into the damaged area hardened for 2 minutes using the UV lamp.
